Forum Rules:

The following rules are absolute and will not change.
These rules will be enforced in every instance, and violations will result in consequences. Generally speaking, these consequences will follow an orderly progression, as follows: the first infraction will incur a warning; the second, a 30 day ban; the third, a three month ban; the fourth, a six month ban; the fifth, a one year ban; and the sixth, a lifetime ban. That said, please keep in mind that this is a privately owned board, and Portal of Dreams reserves the right to determine the length of board-banning on a case-to-case basis depending on the severity of the infraction.

- No underage users are allowed on the board. By entering the site, you have agreed to be over 18 years of age.

- No anonymous posts. Negative posts that are posted by an anonymous person will be removed.

- - No harassing, threatening or insulting of ANY kind will be allowed on the board. You will NOT post any material which or includes racial, ethnic, religious, or gender-based insults; statements meant to hurt or offend another member of the Portal of Dreams community, or those which are false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, or invasive of a person's privacy; nor sexually oriented or adult material which depicts bestiality or child pornography, or which is otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law.

- Spamming and flaming is not allowed. Please keep your posts as constructive as possible.

- No R/T information about another person will be allowed on the board.

- No impersonation of the staff or moderators will be allowed. The user found doing so will be banned.

- Legal Liability. This is a forum for our chatters to share role-play/chat related information and experiences with other chatters in a professional manner. This is not an area for posting resumes, soliciting income based activities or obtaining a life partner or date. Please remember: This is a PUBLIC FORUM. Anything you post may be seen by Internet users around the world, and you are responsible for what you post. Please keep in mind that YOU CAN BE HELD LEGALLY LIABLE FOR WHAT YOU WRITE AND PHOTOGRAPHS THAT YOU POST. In example, if you post personal pictures and you are harassed or stalked as a result, you may be held legally accountable for the context in which they were posted. By posting on the Portal of Dreams forums, you agree to release, hold harmless, and indemnify Portal of Dreams (PoD) from any and all legal or civil actions and penalties and costs, including without limitation attorneys' fees, arising from messages/photographs you have posted on the PoD forums.
